I think you under estimate the propaganda of cnn/msnbc. Don’t get me wrong, they all have an adgenda but there’s a difference between putting out downright lies and reporting on news that support your views. Everyone who was arrested related to the Russian meddling invest has been charged with tax evasion or perjury.
