Backrest help

I removed the 2 screws from the rear of the passenger backrest but how does the plastic back unclip? I can see the 2 clips, do they just pull apart or slide?

Sorry - I have no clue.

Seems like the way to remove them is to remove the big piece above the bags / under the pass. seat & take them out from the under side.
Somebody else might know a better way but that's how I got mine out.

Just pull straight back. They are in there snugly, but will unclip.
