I did find some DIN pin outs on another site, DIY Goldwing Headsets if anyone is interested and for future reference.

Din Plug Pin Connected to
1 Microphone Screening (-)
4 Microphone Live (+) (via Capacitor)
2 Earphones Screening (-) on Both Left and Right
5 Earphone Left (+)
3 Earphone Right (-)

EDIT...And then later in the same site it "changes" to this:

Din Plug Pin Connected to
1 Microphone Screening (-)
2 Microphone Live (+) (via Capacitor)
3 Earphones Screening (-) on Both Left and Right
4 Earphone RIGHT (+)
5 Earphone LEFT (+)

And finally, I find this statement..."If you look at the back of a 5 pin din plug the pins are numbered 1,4,2,5,3, not 1,2,3,4,5. this is where a lot of confusion is made when connections are made. 1 being mic+, 4 is mic ground, 2 is speaker common, 3 and 5 are right and left channels. Here is a link to plug image."
What are you looking to do,have you figured out yet.
You can but any din jack already made up so its plug and play.
