I am definitely up for such a gathering. Anywhere in the west is good for me. I like the idea of just getting together without a lot of structure. Show up, socialise and ride if you want.

    Thanks Jeff for suggesting it

I can only see the poll in the full site mode, not the mobile mode.

But Idaho Springs would not be a good location fir the gathering. Not good for lodging, and too much traffic on I-70 and in the town. I love stopping there for lunch, but try to avoid I-70 if at all possible. Traffic is often stop and go.

Can't go wrong with the Rockies. South Dakota and the Black Hills are great too! I'm in...try to bring a couple friends, too.

Both Jeff, (jmdaniel) and Dwight (AZwingrider) are two of the best riding partners you could hope to hang out with. Both willing to set a pace that is brisk and safe at the same time and can cover some beautiful country in a hurry. Dwight has much more knowledge of the roads and restaurants in that area than the average person and makes a really good ride leader. I wish I could come back that way again for this event but time does not allow for the four day travel to and from.

Thanks, big fella. I wish you could make it as well, you're a lot of fun.

Dave, (F6Bster), is helping organize, was at the last rally, and has a ton of maps of the area.

For sure!!! Been riding out of Montrose for 20+ years. It never gets old. Just fabulous riding!!!
It will be fun, plus lots of other Wing riders in town that weekend for Rockies-Gold. So there will be an opportunity to see other Wing friends. I am no longer involved with organizing R-G, but I organized the first two R-G, which were in Montrose, with several hundred very happy riders, including me.

I did meet Dave but we did not ride together. Wish differently! After a few days and one where I went alone for some roads I wanted to check out like Moki Dugway. Dave asked me if I have done the dirt part going up or down and I said both He had a laugh.

It’s always exciting the first time. Love taking people there. Once we were passing through on our way to Zion, but we rode up, and then back down. Lots of fun!

Maybe we’ll still get a chance to ride together one if these days. If not a ride, maybe have a beer in your area. I have good friends in Orange Beach and hope to get back down that way (car trip) — one of these days!
