    The Florida Spring Breakers...

The wife, daughter and I have decided to shuffle our isolation southward, and are spending a little time at our little place on the beach in the Gulf Coast. We were a little concerned on the way, with all the news stories of Spring Breakers ignoring all COVID guidance and continuing with their partying ways. We found evidence that our concerns were founded, but perhaps our little community's partiers are a tad older.

Guess someone had a bit much Ensure and got sloppy.

Hope everyone is well out there.

With all do respect, why did you not shelter in place? Isn’t that is what we are suppose to be doing?

Senior Floridians have started a "Tattoo Fund" for the "Spring Break Crowd" visiting Florida Beaches. Each young person will receive a free tattoo across their forehead in Red Ink Only, which clearly reads "Do Not Resuscitate"! It's the least us "Senior Citizens" can do for the "Younger Generation"

Fair question, Zeus. We still are. We've been sticking to ourselves for a couple of weeks now, while back home. We loaded our coolers with food that we already had in the freezer, and simply drove down, where we've pretty much kept to ourselves here, too, just with different scenery. We do get out into our little yard a bit, but have enjoyed the sunshine as an alternative to the steady rain back home. To be fair, we rolled this way before shelter was called.

Not seeking to make a political statement, and certainly not thinking the sheltering is just for anyone else. Just attempting a bit of humor in what seems to be a time lacking humor...The news seemed to indicate things way out of hand, and it's just not what we've seen, that's all.

As always, hope folks here are well...
