+1. Twice on this bike, watching mirrors at a stop (and staying in 1st gear) have saved me. Both times, I was able to spot the driver behind me failing to stop in time, and pulled ahead between cars. Seeing the car sitting almost bumper to bumper with the one that was in front of you afterward is sobering.
Stop, I mean a full stop at stop signs. Dont know how many times I have seen (usually when a few bikes are riding together) someone decides to roll through because guy in front of him did and then realize its not safe and have to do some crazy maneuver to hold bike up
Keep you head on a swivel. Constant situational awareness!
Get off the damn phone.
2013 F6B in black of course
IMHO...Remembering that it's heavy and doesn't handle the same a as a bike half it weight, but center of gravity is low and the linked brakes are great.
It generally has pretty good lighting and reflectors all around. Love the emergency flashers.
The indicators on the dash are easy to read at a quick glance and provide more information than most bikes.
My Big Bike Parts aftermarket luggage rack allows me to safely carry a pretty large load.
Not sure the bike could be much safer than it is. My one issue that gets me on a soap box..."Brighter" lights (brake/turn/head/driving) are safer, but Flashing is better. I grab the front brake lever several times EVEN though I've got flashing brake LED's. Flashing lights get more attention than just lights that are on.

My personal three rules for riding a M/C that have done me well through the yrs.
1. you and your M/C are invisible, no one can see you! ("I didn't see the M/C, officer")
2. Anyone who can see you is out to kill you!
3. Never forget rule 1! -
The guy who invented the first wheel was an idiot -
the guy who invented the second one... he was the genius!
