    It's a go......

For all of you weathered in guys, (of course you Florida guys are a different story) I will be thinking of you as I do a quick 400 miler today to visit the grandkids. It's been brutal the last couple of weeks, but were looking at mid 50's today. The bike is in the drive and I'm outta here.

Its been so cold and snowy here in Wisconsin that I am getting tempted to put the F6B on the trailer and head south of the snow line (wherever that may be right now!)

Wife and I took leisurely rides out in the country this afternoon.

Weather has been dreary, but Sunny and ~55~ today.

Hang in there, our fellow Northern Brethren!!! (We typically ~'park'~ ours for about 3 months in the Houston summers,,, Triple-digits + very humid,,, not a lot of fun,,,,)

    Some observations from my daytrip:

    1. The Baker hand wings work really well.

    2. The Baker foot wings don't....in fact I lost one of them passing an 18 wheeler, so I rode the rest of the day with only one. I kind of think you are better off without them period.

    3. I found a spare Gerbings controller finally. I need to re-route my power source to make it easier to plug in.

    4. Heated clothing is good. I used it on the trip home.....mmmmm......nice and toasty.

    5. I like my Aerostitch jacket better. Wore leather today, couldn't seal the drafts out like I can with the stitch.

    6. I can't decide if I like a backrest or not, I'm leaning towards not

    7. I tend to ride this bike faster than previous ones.

    8. I didn't see another bike on the interstate today.

    9. Nothing beats a neck hug from your grandkids.

My Baker Wings are in the mail, should be here tomorrow. Glad to hear (again) that they seem to do what the Baker folks claim.
