    Tinting Clear Windshield

Need an opinion. Have a 2013 F6b Deluxe that has a 15” - 16” high clear vented windshield. Don’t know the manufacturer. Am going to apply some dark tint to it because I look over it and like the look with the black bike. Have read that tint (wrap) is different when applying to metal as opposed to plastic. Anyone have any experience doing this? Am assuming applying it to the front of the shield is the best option.Thanks. Ride Safely.

I would think that applying it to the front is going to make it vulnerable to bugs and other road debris and it might not last long with that and the frequent cleaning it would need. Ya don't see it on the outside of car windows.
Oh wait, I just re read your post. You're talking about a wrap and not a window tint. In that case, ignore my response.

Hi six2go. Probably going to use dark window tint. I think you are right to apply it behind the shield like car windows. Thanks.
