Hello all
I’m interested in placing a GPS unit just above my dash. I’m pretty tall so this will be idea spot for me to see road and GPS. Wondering if anyone has thoughts regarding this bracket. Open to any suggestions/options. Thanks again

I have the https://www.ez-gpsmount.com/ I am very happy with it works great if you have a vent in the windshield.

Thanks for the responses. I have a madstad windshield. The fellow who made the dash mount I posted above is no longer in businessStill researching for something mounted just above dash.
I have a Madstad windshield. Cobbled together some pieces to mount my Garmin. Typical double ball mount coupler and two ball mounts. Drilled two holes in the bottom portion of the Madstad, then used some foam rubber to cushion the mount/GPS from front end road shocks. Power in run from left side glovebox, up under the front fascia to underneath the Madstad windshield:Thanks for the responses. I have a madstad windshield. That sir is perfect. Which mount did you use?
I used A RAM ball mount. Something like this:
I used two sided Gorilla tape to hold it on the back of the GPS. The whole assembly is easily removable if you don't want to leave it on your bike.

I have a Garmin automotive GPS with an irritating 'feature'. It automatically zooms in when I slow down, but doesn't return to the original wide zoom when I resume my speed. A similar Garmin unit in my truck does the same thing. I read that European units let you override this in the settings, but not the US versions.
As a result, I frequently need to manually zoom out. Mounting the GPS close to my left hand makes this easy. I used the Ram Mount base that attaches to the clutch reservoir bracket. I also used the custom fit cradle for my Garmin. It's rock solid yet you can snap out the GPS in a second.
