    yep it was abad day

was out in the shed working on the B nothing major, just a new belly pan and the airwings that attach to the bottom of the mirrors.
I brought the bike down off the center stand, and its so tight in the shed that my hand hit the snowblower which caused me to drop the bike on its right side and snapped the mirror right off..
I looked around and found one mirror for almost $250 but then checked amazon and found two for $100 and they look almost factory from the pictures..we will see because I ordered those cheaper ones.....still feel like an idiot

Could have been a lot worse. Glad it was only the mirror that got hurt.

Could have been much worse, if it was a Harley the mirror would have been quadruple the price and because of the drop the transmission would malfunction.

no my hand hit the snowblower, the bike hit the shed wall. I am waiting for the new mirror to come in, and then I will see how it compares to OEM

Glad you didn't need to have your hand worked on too.

Yep, these bikes are heavy. Someone here long ago got hurt from a falling F6B while working on it. I can't remember the particulars at the moment though...

I wanted my mirrors to be black instead of gray on my black F6B and the painter almost want $300 to paint so I purchased on ebay two mirrors already painted black but they were for a regular goldwing and they fit perfectly and look great. LOL Our mirrors are easy install. Sorry to hear about your mishap.

Received the Mirrors from Amazon and they look great, they are shiny instead of matte black but look good. I went to install them and found the plugs were different than the bike had, so I cut them on the old mirrors and spliced the old plugs on...which took me a minute because the wires were different colors on each side of the bike and from the new mirrors....trial and error got it done LOL
