    Adjusting Rider's Pegs

My new boots are a little thicker than my last 2 previous pairs, and I am having trouble getting the top of my boot under the gear shift. Does anyone know of a product that will allow me to adjust the position of my rider's pegs, or of rider's pegs that a little more narrow?

Any help or advice will be much appreciated.

I think you can adjust the shift lever.

I use the Mini boards and can tilt them downward to create more area for my foot to slide under the shift lever.

I stole this from The GL1800 Forum...I don't remember being able to get to the locking nuts 7 and 16. I Do remember removing bolt 14 and moving the spindle to another set of teeth on the gear it slips on to.

Yes the Manual Trans model is adjustable.

Here is where the adjustment is made. (Loosen the the locking rod nuts- #7 & 16.)
Rotate rod until the shifter is where you want it.
Lock down the nuts, and button it back up.

I suggest a short test ride.
To see if you set it to your liking,
Before you button it back up

My 2013 F6B has a rod only an inch long with no lock nuts and maybe no adjustment.
I just bought some Daytona boots and can barley get my boot tip under the shifter.

I also saw a video from traxtion dynamics showing the above long rod with adjusting nuts. I took my covers off to reveal a short rod only 1 inch with no locking nuts.

Maybe you slide both sides off the bike adjust and slide them back on???????????????

Anyone else with boots have a solution?

I have "drop mounts" on my miniboards. Pegs/mini boards will scrape sooner in the corners due to them being lower but I've been able to adapt no problem. Can only find them now with the miniboards, but thought when I got them around 2014 I was able to find just the drop mounts. The mounts should be splined too so you can adjust tilt forward for even more clearance.

I've had the mini boards and drop down mounts for a few years. I was scraping pegs pretty bad around corners so I took them off. I wouldn't ride the dragon with them on but most of the easy riding around town would be okay.

They work for my boots but I don't know if I like them.
Maybe I can use the drop down mount with a normal type foot peg.
I do not like the running mini board as much as a normal foot peg.

My foot seems to hang up sometimes.
