Gettin off the rock and headed to northern Georgia from the Keys Oct. 2nd for 10 days and staying up around Blairsville or Blue Ridge. We've done the Dragon, Helen, BRP, Tallulah Gorge, etc a few times so they're out. We got fogged out of Brasstown Bald last time so we're doing that ride again. What other roads/destinations are must see? Thank you.
I've been thru there many times and stayed near Blairsville at the Copperhead Lodge before COVID in 2019. There were 2 other riders and their wives. We all had a cabin and I had a small garage for the MC. It was a rainy on and off so the garage was nice to have. If you haven't gotten a place to stay yet you might want to check it out. If you find Morganton which is between Blue Ridge and Blairsville on Hwy60 go south on it. It is a nice road and which many call the Gauntlet. Have fun and I hope you're weather is nice.
