    Bronco Off-Roadeo

This board is quiet! Time to post something even if it isn't F6B related.

My son just bought a new Bronco. One of the extras is a one day driving school in either New Hampshire, Tennessee, Texas, Nevada, or Utah. Ford supplies the vehicles, lunch, and dinner. There's no cost for the purchaser but passengers pay about $400.

I met my son in Moab for the school, located in an incredible area adjacent to Arches National Park. It was a full 10 hour day and more intensive than I expected. We had a blast. If you buy a Bronco (even the little Sport) it's well worth going.

Great motorcycle riding in the area

looks fun. Hope you and the others didn't have any damage to your vehicles. I've only been to Utah on my F6B. That was great too. Plenty of twisty mountain roads to keep a rider interested in return trips.

I have been to Arches national park, very picturesque. That's a very cool sales promo Ford is doing, looks like a lot of fun. Thanks for the post.

Last year I went to Utah with my son to the F150 Raptor Rodeo it was a blast
I recently bought a Bronco Raptor I have not been off-road yet, but it is fun to drive very impressive vehicle.

They treat the vehicles like typical rentals: the instructor did a walkaround of each vehicle before and after. Even though one Bronco banged the rear diff against a big rock, no damage was noted at the end of the day. My son opted for the damage waiver, which costs $75 to limit your exposure to $3,500. I suppose that's better than totaling a $70,000 vehicle.

Those are some great looking trucks! Did they take you to the public land east of Arches NP and north of Utah 128? Or did you go to another location?

Definitely picturesque, great riding, and light traffic! Here's where we had lunch. Not only is that a great road, but there's only one car. Here in Colorado there'd be bumper to bumper traffic, and potholes everywhere.

Great post Dave, reminds me of the rally when a group of us went to Arches NP. Excellent photos, I miss that area terribly. Glad you and your son had a good time

The true off road people soon discovered that the stock suspension wasn’t up to true off roading. A whole aftermarket was created. Most likely similar to Jeep.
