Check Engine Light stays on for a bit too long

Haven't ridden in a couple weeks. Pulled the bike out of the garage and fired her up. Ran to the store (2 minutes away), out in 5 minutes.

When I fired her up again, I noticed the check engine light lit up and stayed on for a couple seconds, then turned off. Never noticed this before.

Rode home, turned her off, and fired her up again. Light did the same thing.

    Should I be concerned?

Well, double check the oil level. If ok, then I wouldn't be too concerned, but I would keep an eye on it. I think they stay on until all circuits and sensors are reading correct. Possible colder weather could delay the light a bit. Mine does not go out immediately, either. 98k and running fine.

Ok, thanks. It was significantly colder yesterday, so perhaps that's it. I had checked the oil just 2 weeks ago, so she's all good there.
