    Narrow seat options for F6B

Looking for options/recommendations for companies that can or do make a more narrow seat for the F6B.

Someone suggested Diamond Seats, and I'll contact them and look into that option, but if there are any other options I'd appreciate the info.

I'm 5'10" but 30" inseams are making it tough for me to flat foot. I CAN if I shift forward onto the "horn" of the seat a bit. I've got the preload set high cause I'm a heavy guy, and I'll dial it back some if I have to, but I'd rather find a narrower seat and keep what little clearance this bike has. My new-to-me 2015 F6B came with a Corbin dual touring saddle, which in addition to being "harder" than any seats I've been on, is so wide that I feel like I'm doing the splits trying to touch the ground. Rode Valkyries for the past almost 20 years now and never had an issue touching, but this is a wide bike!

I know everyone has their favorite seat (my favorite on the valkyrie was Ultimate), but right now, I'm just interested in which one are narrow, or can be made narrow. I loved my Ultimate so much that I'd go with Ultimate again, but they couldn't tell me if the Midrider seat was more or less narrow than the Corbin.

I almost fee like I'd touch better, even on my Corbin, if the seat bucket was HIGHER instead of lower, like it is. I feel like I'm sitting into a bucket or trash can, rather than sitting ON a seat, if that makes sense.

    Cheers!

I can say I have the Ultimate king, and it certainly is NOT a narrow seat. I'm a taller guy, have no problems flat footing, but certainly feel spread eagle riding, and riding with shorts is breezy.

If you have the time, and the moolah, you can do a ride-in to Russell Day Long and they'll make it up that day to your specifications

I second Russell Day Long. Hard to describe how great their seats and service are. However, they might make it impossible for you to flatfoot from seated position, given that their suspension system actually raises seat height. You generally end up going to a standing position in front of the seat when you need to flatfoot. It might be a bit of a learning curve, but for me, I was so comfortable in the seated position it was 100% worth it.

Reach out to them and they'll give you the skinny on whether or not they can provide what you're looking for.

I've got a corbin that was custom made for a guy that is an inch taller than be but about my weight (I'm 5'6" 195 lbs) when I'm wearing motorcycle boots with thick soles/heels on them I can flat foot with the slightest bend in the knees. While the corbin seat is hard you want that for long distance, I regularly put in 8-10 hour days if not longer into this seat, and I gotta say it's better than the soft stock seat that I'd be in so much pain I had to stop after 4-6 hours.

I had a mustang on mine, yes it sits you lower. I'm 5' 10 and could flat foot at a stop, it was a little firm

Did my first longer ride on my new bike today. From Houston to San Antonio and back. Had to go do a repair job at a customer in San Antonio. It was only 400 miles total, but with traffic about 8 hours in the saddle. The Corbin definitely isn't for me. So much pain. it felt like torture on the ride back home. On my Valkyrie I had an ultimate saddle and I could spend 10 hours on the bike and not even notice my butt. I know a lot of people love their Corbin, but I don't see how!! LOL Is your bed at home made of nails? Do you whip yourselves for religious sins? Do you enjoy pain for pain's sake? LOL. Someone on youtube did a review of their ultimate mid-rider and I asked them if it was more or less narrow than stock. They answered back that I would definitely be able to flat foot, so I'm assuming it's more narrow than stock. Anyway, since I liked the Big Boy saddle on my Valkyrie I guess I'll give the midrider a try. Anyone want a Corbin? It's real pretty! especially if you have the matte silver f6b. matches the bike perfect, and I think that means a lot! non heated, dual touring with both rider and passenger back rests. cheaper than the ones on ebay!! message me! haha!
