    2015 F6B Wheel Comparison

Are there any major differences between the F6B and a Goldwing front bare wheel or are they basically the same wheel?

I don't think they are but just to make sure try and order one for your "B" they'll usually tell you if it fits or not

If you order a new one they are different because the one for a goldwing comes complete. I'm going to be selling a bare one and I was trying to confirm the bare wheels are the same.

    Rear Wheel Interchangeable

I know the rear wheel from a full size GL1800 works, because I bought one from a dealer that did trike conversions. He had a stack of them and sold me a brand new wheel and tire for $200. Now I have a ready to install rear tire at all times.

There is one slight difference: the full size Wing has TPMS, so there is an automotive type sender mounted inside by the valve stem hole. Since Honda TPMS includes a metal stem, the wheel lacks that protrusion for the plastic clip needed for rubber valve stems. When I changed my first tire I removed the useless (to me) TPMS unit and gave it back to the dealer. I replaced it with a metal stem so the missing clip holder wasn't an issue.

Since the front wheel on a full Wing has TPMS I suspect it is similar.

I agree with F6Dave. Rear wheels are interchangeable. I have 2 spare rear wheels, that I got online from a trike conversion place. Have used both. Nice to have a spare all mounted and ready to go. Front wheel is as e says.

When I bought my spare rear rim it was from a full Wing with TPMS. Saved me from having to put a metal valve stem on. My assumption is that the front rims are interchangeable. The only difference between rims is clear coating or painted. There may have been a raw uncoated.
