    Z1R Helmets

I own three Z1R Eclipse Helmets. One for me and 2 for passengers. Regular cost is around $200 each

    I am now considering a 3/4 helmet.

Came across a few 3/4 helmets on sale for under $50 that usually go for $120

What do you think on the look? The sun visor is somewhat useless in my opinion.

Successful people build each other up. They motivate, inspire and push each other. Unsuccessful people just hate, blame and complain.

Price is right but the visor is one of those "functional beauty" parts. IMO that is why they are on clearance.

I have a ZR1 ACE,,, (not the 'transit' addition)

Kind of a 'round' fit vs long oval,,, Does seem to vent pretty decent.,,

It's a 'value orientated' helmet, Decent 'bang for the buck' (I paid $99)

You can always get the 'Transit' version, remove the 'fully removable' sun visor and have an 'ACE' for 1/2 price,,,

I prefer LS2, it has dual visors and is very comfortable and light. In fact, I'll be wearing it while in Daytona!

Here is a link to it on Amazon.com, check out all the positive reviews:

    And another picture:

I think it's pretty dead on for $99.

In my opinion, the visor on Z1R is going to catch a lot of air and probably make the helmet louder, and yet there is no real purpose to it.
