I agree.I like the color BUT on the showroom floor. It looks good on the showroom floor but sitting in my garage for years I think it would get to me (to bright) and would probably have to sell it.

    /\ /\ /\ Pretty much my thoughts/agree.

Saw the yellow AND both a blue and a black Valk yesterday at the dealer. Honestly, as far as colors,,, the blue on the Valk was my fave.

Yellow is my favorite color. I looked at them when I was shopping last month and if them had been closer in price to the red, I would have purchased one. But, having had the red one for a while, when I look at a picture of the yellow, I am glad I got the red.

I know of several folks with yellow Goldwings and they have loved them for years.

I figured if I was going to buy a bike that looked like a snowmobile, I might as well go all the way and get a yellow one.

Both my dealers have the 2013 discounted in both colors...16k for deluxe and 15k for standard ...salesman told me most likely I could get similar deal on 2014 next year...Ive got cash money but can wait till next year and get the yellow (who doesn't like to save money) ...many thanks for the replies....

Ps. I have nothing against the 2013 colors, just that the yellow is different....

    Tenn X / Phil -

If you like the yellow then go for it. You are the only one the color will matter too.
They are definately visible and unique.

Black is universal but somewhat difficult of a color to care for until you get figured out.
Red / Black was a coin toss; we decided black best..

I think you already summed it up, Phil -

The deals on the 2013's are the perfect opportunity to have the same bike at significant savings..

You might get a little more trade in or retail value out of a 14 if you sell, tag taxes might be less on the 13, insurance will be the same.

There will always be deals on the previous year's model. It is a matter of how bad you want it..
