    Homemade Luggage Rack

I thought i'd post a few pics of the luggage rack i made. As much as i'd like to buy the Mp3 luggage rack, finances won't permit at the moment so i decided to make one of my own. ^mm aluminium plate, 4 high tensile hex head bolts and some paint and it's done. The Longhorn on it is something i picked up in Dallas when we were over there in 2012. I just thought i'd dress the rack up a little. I may or may not leave it attached to the bike permanently , but at least i have somewhere to strap luggage now.

Great job! Your rack looks "First Class". They say "Necessity is the Mother of Invention" and you've demonstrated that eloquently

Like you, I love making "Home Brewed" accessories for my 6. Having access to some hard vinyl material I fabricated my own version and I'm very satisfied with the outcome.

Here's my original "thread" on the rack/subject.
