The F6B is not meant to be stationary. She'll make you "want to ride."
My take on the bike nights & bike shows are that they are for the "jack & polish" riders. As in polish the bike then to it.
I do not believe that 2 wheeled vehicles should be reduced to passive works of art by adding so much bling.
Having said that, I do own the Guggenheim "Art of the Motorcycle" book. But that's at another level.....

More practical? No. If you were "practical" you would have bought an Elio car at 87mpg.
As you stated, you want to ride and you found the ideal platform to do that.

    See you in Franklin?

Here's my take...I'll do a charity ride for the ride. After that's done, I go ride some more. I'll be darned if I waste an afternoon sitting in line for a hot dog. Our weather up here doesn't allow for wasted time as long as you enjoy riding and not the show.

It's a fun machine, not for sitting in the garage

    Hi Bert

Funny seeing you here, congratulations on your new motorcycle. I've been reading and learning here, I've crossed the new Valkyrie off my possibility list. Now my list is VERY slim. Soon we may have more F6B's in Florida than the old Valks? Oh, answering the post I'm 53 and still lurking and learning the F6B. I like what I see.

    I am 58.
I have had more motorcycles than I can possibly count or remember.
I have had 2 Gold Wings.
    A 1981 and a 1993.
I just didn't want an "old mans motorcycle" at the times I had them.
Now I could not be more appreciative of the fact I have this F6b.
