Throttle boss question

A simpler issue: the Kuryakyn throttle boss. Can anyone here tell me whether it will work with the stock grips?

I have it on mine. It works great for me. I'm used to the larger diameter grip on the Harley so I like them. Those that ride with the stock diameter grips don't usually like them .I have my throttle boss adjusted so that flat palm is 80mph. When you put them on you'll need zip ties to hold the two halves together till you get the screws tightened. They work best with the bar ends weights that kuryakyn has as well.................................Dickie
