Anyone try a Saddlemen Profiler Seat?

Personally, I like the stock seat once I cut an inch out of it (got rid of that bubble and made it more seat like).

Still, it looks like it belongs on a moped.

This Saddlemen seat is half the price of a Mustang. It does look slimmer. I don't know if it is lower, closer, or further back.

Does anyone else know anything about this seat?

I was unable to find anything on Saddlemens website about this seat.

Part number search led me here:

I called Saddlemen. They said the seat is not in production yet (~2 months?).

They also said that they tend to stick with the stock measurements (height and distance from the bars).

    Oh well .....

Yeah, I wouldn't expect anything radically different from OEM in overall seating position,,, I believe they used gel in some of their seats,,, All things considered, it looks like an attractive price point for an aftermarket F6B seat,,,

Assuming that photo is correct it would appear to just be a gel version of the OEM seat. Yeah the price point is nice, but not if it is the same exact cut just with some gel thrown in it.

The driver "backrest" part definitely looks more narrow and rounded. The corners are cut off. The front looks more narrow too, but that is hard to tell.

We'll see if I am still in the market in 2 months, 4 months, 6 months ....

That is a nice looking seat….I have added a gel pad to many of my bikes and I like them…The only reason I looked for another seat was the fact that the stock seat pushed my forward or I was always pushing myself back…either way it had to go…looks like these folks have straighten up the slant some and that is good!!!

It looks like a couple of places have it in stock now. Has anyone here purchased one yet?

Comparing pics to my stocker, looks thicker from grabrails to the edge of the "upright" part of the seat. Non acceptable seating position for me, same thing I had with Utopia mid rider. As in pushing you towards the handlebars. That's just me. It looks like a great seat for a great price, and will be perfect for some. Like they say, "No two butts are the same."

    Can't beat that price either.
