Well, when I started this venture, I had acquired parts from 3 different suppliers.

I recently discovered 3 European manufacturers producing a FLIP shield using similar or the same parts from the same suppliers.

None have a F6B specific deflector but they might work.

I'm just too busy to continue this project knowing that there is something out there that may accomplish the same.

Successful people build each other up. They motivate, inspire and push each other. Unsuccessful people just hate, blame and complain.

Sorry to read that the flip is off the burner. A great idea to be certain. Should you pick it back up as a project, and should you need a beta tester, I am available! I like the look of yours better than what could be put together with the parts shown above.

What do you guys think of this:

It appears to be a similar concept to the one proposed in this thread, but is in production now.
Has anyone used this and can provide feedback?

It would be great if they would sell the brackets by themselves so one could re-purpose their old screens.

SO WHERE WAS THIS 3 SHIELDS AGO???????

I am OK with the Madstad now. That is after the stock, Klockwerks, and Baggershield. What I really loved was the MRA on my Kingpin. The stock shield with a "spoiler" mounted to deflect the majority of the wind was what I think fits the style of the B. When you flipped up the spoiler on the MRA, you got surprising protection from a small amount of plastic. Here it is fully retracted.

My wife has one on her BMW R1200R. The addition of the MRA deflector made a noticeable improvement in buffeting and wind noise, but I still find both too much for my liking. She loves it though. I'm 5'11" and she's 5'8".

Unfortunately, I can't review it on the F6B. I swapped to the Honda tall shield before I ever took my first ride. If I had been thinking, I would have tried it out before I put my new shield on. I can't imagine I'd like it better than what I have now, so I don't see taking the trouble to put the original windshield back on.

If anyone in the Twin Cities area would like to borrow the MRA deflector for a few days, I'm sure my wife wouldn't mind. Just shoot me a PM.

    Great feedback - thanks!
It's a funky looking little shield, but it appears to accomplish what they are talking about in this thread; a detachable non-permanent windshield mod

I have this on my 81 Honda CB750K it is one of the best things I have added to the bike.
It is a Givi AirFlo Universal Windshield. It was a little pricey but worth every penny. I can now comfortably ride 80-90mph without being blown off the bike.
