Welcome. I'm a fellow newbie and former VTX owner. I had an 1800C and recently traded my 1800N for my black deluxe. Waiting for the weather to give us a bit more of a break here in WI to really get some miles on. Love the transition. I feel like I've moved on to a more "sophisticated" ride moving from the big twin to the sportier look and feel of the F6B. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts. Are you planning on keeping the X? Much different, especially if you have aftermarket pipes on the X. I had the Freedom Performance Curved Radius pipes and they were damn loud. Happy to be on my quiet F6 now.

It will be interesting to see how long the VTX stays around. For the first time in quite a while, the F6B is the only bike in my garage. It's the most versatile ride I've had in a very long time.

Nice to have a big V-Twin to ride also. I have a VN2000, very similar to your VTX 1800 to go along with a flat six.
Both nice for different types of riding.
