I guess the black paint just blends to much or cars just not looking (except State Troopers) so I purchase a HiViz Vest....oh well maybe they will find my body sooner....LOL!

Anything helps,,,
Considering some 'hi-viz' apparel myself. 'Bright silver' or even white is another alternative. (Both are a bit cooler than anything black in summer.)
I have a Firstgear mesh tex in silver that's a 'bright' silver,,, It almost sparkles!!
Even grey gets hot in summer.
I've been wearing my First Gear white jacket and retired the grey one.
I couldn't find a white Camelbak..
Please don't spook the road-sheep.
My only problem with hi-viz is the folks who let it lure them into a false sense of security. "I look like I just fell out of a nuclear reactor in a cartoon so that car driver MUST see me."
I think your best bet is to wear the hi-viz (although I don't) but still assume that EVERYONE is going to pull out in front of you.
I have the Firstgear hi-viz jacket and the Scorpion hi-viz modular helmet. So important to be visible to those cages.
I have noticed that fewer people tend to tailgate me on the F6B but the aggressive look of additional lighting (removed the reflectors and added LEDs) does more, day or night, to protect me.
