Its just a plate so my side stand does not dig into the asphalt. With the string its easy just to get on the bike then pull up the string and store it
That's the way it looks, if you remove the oem backrest and keep the oem rear carrier:

After driving without the oem backrest i feel much faster and sleaker than ever before!
