    698.9 miles and a Suicide Blonde

    Beautiful weather leaving lubbock. Up to 91 in pueblo, CO. Down to 58 with rain going through Hartsel on CO 9. Great ride, great bike.

    Mileage was stunning: 41mpg to start, 53mpg on the last stint. Wow.

    Higher milage should be from higher elevations …..

    Yes, I expected mileage to go up. But not a whopping 15mpg. The Harleys and the BMWs got about 5-6 more.
