Philbert 40 .... not all GPS have the ability for you in install a certain route...to do this the unit MUST have a SD card... and then you use a program to up load the info...I use this one... http://tripplanner.honda.com/ there are many ways to mount your Unit,, Miles did show some options as well...here are a few more... http://www.sierra-mc.com/products.asp?cat=173 some here have mounted their unit to the top of the cubby ... and some use this one for security... http://www.touratech-usa.com/Store/1735/Zumo-GPS-Mounts and I suggest you buy one of these so your unit does not go for a walk.... http://www.touratech-usa.com/Store/1...w-for-RAM-Arms ... and you can always do what my friend does... he bought a regular GPS and when it rains it put a baggy from a sandwich over it. Sorry if this was infor over load....

The Garmin 350 is a very nice unit...I have one...it's selling point is being Blue tooth ...most of Garmin's are... if I had to do it over I am not sure I would go with the 350 only because my Cardo system can't do the 350 and my I Phone at the same time because they use the same blue tooth technology....
