    Added a pony tank

Moved my pony tank from my VTX to the B. Added a solenoid, fuel pump and power switch. Ready for her maiden IronButt run.Attachment 14285Attachment 14286Attachment 14286Attachment 14286Attachment 14287Attachment 14287Attachment 14288Attachment 14288

No idea why the double images. Pain in the ass to do this from my phone.
I choose my own ride and destination and seek not your approval of either.

Double images, what double images. You sure that is fuel and not beer? What double images?

That's a sweet looking rig there. What is the size? Looks like about 4-6 gallons. That should almost make your bike run nearly 500 miles. So cool.

I think you're spot on about the size. I thought I read on the Ironbutt website that total fuel capacity is limited to 11 or 12 gallons; so 6.6 plus 4-6 would put him right at the mark.

That is way cool. When you fill up, do you fill both tanks independently or just the back tank which fills the OEM tank in the process?

I fill them up independent of each other. I put a solenoid in between the 2 tanks that opens when I flip the fuel pump switch. Without it the pony tank would just gravity feed into the main tank and overfill it. I just wait for the fuel light to come on and then flip the switch. It takes about 5 min to transfer the contents and I don't have to stop to do it.

    Fitted SoCal Low beam HID's.
    Ooohhh: Shinny!
Now to be bothered fitting the HID low beam cutout loom.
I hate how much mucking around it is to remove a seat with the OEM rack.
    Merry Christmas everyone.

Forgot, also fitted Kury Amber LED mirror indicators.
Simple 5 minute plug and play, and a great addition to my safety/ indicator visibility.

    12V power outlet

For anyone doing this for the first time...I Installed the 12V outlet in left cubby today. Not a difficult job. Hardest part for me was finding and plugging it into the female end provided. *Tip* - It's red and inside a clear boot on the left hand side, along with the headphone wire connection...I was looking for a white one hanging out by itself. I texted shooter and he called right away to confirm...thanks bud. I used the cross symbol provided on the cubby wall to drill the 7/8" hole. The items provided by Wingstuff worked perfectly.

*Tip* - The black strip just about popped off itself after I took the pins out from the cubby. I thought it was the whole left side that had to come off....not so, just that black strip. As a matter of fact, I didn't even remove it totally. Left the lower section alone.

It's a 30 minute job if you have the tools handy.
