Installed my $1k of Honda accessories. Luggage rack, intercom and smoked windshield. Now I'm headed to Mt St Helens.

What did you do to your F6B today?

My F6B wanted to go for a ride today, so I complied.
Took a trip up to the tip of the thumb and back, Darn it was nippy for the first part of the ride.
Once the sun came out it warmed up nicely.
Tons of bikes on on the road today, everyone else must be getting in the "Last Ride of the Season."

    Training

"Gorgeous" went to the BRC2 today and provided demonstration services for 8 new riders. She was very responsive in the U turn box, didn't skid during quick stops, and showed her power during the "roll" on the slow, look, press and roll procedures. Great day, 7 new licensed riders and one licensed rider gets a training card.

Bringing motorcycling to new riders is a rewarding rush.
    Cheers,
    Steve

    Wings over the Smokies

Just turned over 20,000 miles on my return from the NC Goldwing get together. Good to see NCF6B and others.

Hooked up a new GPS mount after hacking up the "free" 12V Honda power outlet to get the connector.
Alertly noted that the mounts wiring harness had something that the thingie in the left cubbie could plug into.
Impressed even myself by reading the manual to route audio thru the speakers rather than a headset.

(Never had GPS audio hooked up on a bike....this will be....different.)

Well, I just bought mine on Sept 20th. Hauled it home and rode it some the following Sunday and Monday. Then ordered a few accessories on Monday night. They came in while I was out of town last week. I installed the new black Cobra 6-2-6 pipes and Ergo II highway pegs this past Saturday. The pipes look and sound amazing! Went riding a bit Saturday evening. Adjusted the Ergo II pegs and rode more yesterday. Got it past it's 300 mile break in. Now to have fun!

I'm on call for work, so I can't ride, which sux, because the weather is perfect. But I did get to install my exhaust finally.
Took a short ride around the block, wow do they sound awesome. Thanks to the rally for making my decision on the Rush.

Got the last of my $1,000 worth of toys bolted on yesterday. The Black just keeps getting better and better. The combination of Rocky's Risers and Rivco Aeros makes it so that something like the Mustang seat would be primarily a fashion statement. The Black is now already super comfortable for me. The center stand is going to be nice for working on the bike as proven in the little bit of detailing I did.
