    Advanced Rider Course

Isleen and I attended the Advanced Rider Course onboard NAS Whiting Field today.

A sportbike course, but with a few peg scrapes here and there, Isleen held her own quite well.
    The "Ever-Decreasing-Radius-of-Turn" was REALLY fun!

Took off the ugly kick stand

But put on a very nice polished Chrome one from Value Accessories.

38,000 miles - Oil and filter change... new brake pads F & R (1st time to replace)... Add-On trailer hitch (Kury wiring harness still pending) - coulda used a helper-bot for the hitch... dropped it off at the shop for the brake recall work - they'll also look at the L fork seal leak and check eng light (air temp sensor). Okay, okay... it wasn't all done today exactly... but this week.

Gotta get her ready for the ride to the rally.. WooHoo!

Removed the trailer hitch from the 6 and installed on the GL18oo... moved a few other trinkets and cleaned up both!

Painted, then installed a used center stand. (The trick with inserting quarters into the spring to expand it for install worked perfectly!). Coated my Russell leather seat with Doc Bailey's Leather Clear.
