    Cooling fan vibration

With my other Liquid cooled bikes, Valk and GL1000s, I have never felt the cooling fan come on. I may hear it or feel the heat pushing up, but never felt the fan come on. On the F6B I can actually feel a vibration while stopped and the fans come on. Is this just a matter of the dual side mounted fans closer to the rider vs me being used to a single fan out front?? I looked over the fan blades and see no broken or cracked blades. Wonder if this just the nature of the beast or should I be looking deeper into it.

Thats funny. I just got back from a short ride and I noticed the same thing. I was going to place the same question here. I notice the fan come on but also there is grrrrrr noise I feel (not hear). I hope u understand what I mean. The grrrrrr noise is a circular feeling like it happens at one of the circle points in rotation of the fan. BUt nothing noteworthy and concerning. Just observation.

I have had three Wings including my F6B and they all had minor vibration and noise when the fan starts and runs.

I can hear the fans come on. It's very muted compared to my old Silverwing, which sounded like a Hoover vacuum at full tilt. No vibration from the fans.

Me thinks the fans are larger than the ones on The Ohio [ American ] made Goldwings.

If I can't fix it, I will fix it so no one can fix it.

You can start worrying when you DON'T hear the fans come on...
Re-tired, or Re-tard. Depends on your attitude.
