The Baffles are 2.25", using 2.0" will give you about 3-4 decibels less sound. Going up to 2.5" will give you about 3-4 decibels more.

What about Drone?
My Cobra's sounded great at idle and revving it up but when riding it was unbearable.
Have not noticed any drone at all. They have been on now for about 3000 miles. We decided to go with these on our own bike because of the drone issue with a couple of the other brands available.Originally Posted by bobbyf6b

The F6B I bought had Cobra pipes installed by the dealer. At idle they sounded fantastic. As soon as I was out on the road at 30 mph, I had to turn around and head back; the drone was that bad. In 15 minutes he had the Cobras off and the stock mufflers back on. After resuming the test ride I bought the F6B.
Hi,
I have the same Rush exhaust and tips, but I have the 2" baffles and I have a drone while cruising. I wonder if the 2.25" baffles that you're using will reduce the drone or will the existing drone just get louder. To me, drone is when I no longer hear the cadence of the engine and all I hear is a continuous tone or hum.
