The Oyster Run general information page claims that upwards of 20,000 bikes have shown up in the past. With the great weather we had, I'll bet there were twice that many but who knows. We got there at 10:30 and left at 1:30 and the bikes were still pouring in. There were so many people that we finally gave up on the sidewalks and walked down the street. There were many example of the "radical bagger" that seems to be getting more popular. Lots of money in those bikes. I've never been to Sturgis but, if it's 10 times as large as the Oyster Run, it'll be a zoo. A few pics:

Ugh, I don't understand the giant front wheel/stretched hard bags thing. Makes me think of a 3 year old kid riding one of those fisher price big wheels.
You had perfect weather, looks like a great time..... Perhaps next year for me.
I rode the wheels off everyone my parents would buy me!!! Take a look at these!!! Modern adult versions....
