    Driving light protectors

Now that I have my over priced Honda running lights installed, I'm concerned about protecting them -- they seem like they could take a rock really easily. I've found online some plastic "lens" type ones even in an amber color that would be kind of nice. But even those seem to only be available for Wings 2010 or older. What I'd really like for the look I think I'm going for now is the wire mesh kind that a lot of off road vehicles have. Does anyone know of some available? Seems like fabrication wouldn't be that tough though I don't know the first thing about that sort of thing. Not even sure where I'd go for some appropriate mesh.

There are some vinyl film appliques for foglights, can even get them in colors, which will act as chip protection. The ones that come to mind are at superluminations.com You'll have to dig around on their site. I had seen a Prius with all blue headlights, thought that looked pretty cool, now I know where they could have found the product from.
