Last night was the coldest night of the winter so far. The display on the bike said 11ºf, windchill at 55mph = -16ºf. Roadcrafter suit, elkskin gauntlet gloves with wool liners, aerostitch heated vest with short sleeve shirt...TOASTY!

A balmy 45F around 2pm today in western NC. Had not had a chance to ride in a few weeks and just decided to bundle up and get in an hour+ of riding. The bikes fairing does a great job of blocking the wind and with a full face helmet and some warm clothes, gloves and coat the ride is actually enjoyable. Never would have enjoyed the Harley at these temps.

The last five days have been unseasonably warm here in the mid 50's.Did about 400 miles the last few days it was nice.Today the Ol girl got a bath and another coat of Liquid Glass as it is set to get back to our normal cold winter. So she is covered now and warm and clean in the garage.

Don't get me started . We have frosty , white and dangerous conditions for riding . I miss my saddle .

Rode to Galveston today. It was sunny and 72 degrees on the seawall. I went through almost an entire tank of $1.72 gas. It was a good day in my part of the country if you didn't have to go work and I didn't.
