I purchased that red molding a while back and, like I mentioned in the previous post, I remember buying it at AutoZone. Doing a web search on it, I believe this is the product:

Looks good, enough to break up the solid color and not to much to make it look busy, Nice job

No nut on the back. They attach with double-sided tape.

I am going to install the light rings tomorrow along with the SoCal lights in the turn signals...BlackBetty thought they did not look so good on the outside...was thinking I would try to put them behind the badge ???

P.S. Not trying to jack your thread...seemed to fit w/ the badges....

The rings are designed to go AROUND the badge, not behind it. And, the reason BB12 didn't particularly like the rings is the yellow color when they are off.

Is the Decepticon on the front vinyl? The red inside the "nostrils" of the front, is that more of the molding, or are those lights? Sorry, I can't tell from the picture.

I might have to try the 'carbon fiber' molding. http://cowlesproducts.com/cowles-cus...fiber-molding/

Wonder how the chrome molding would look for those QFC. http://cowlesproducts.com/cowles-cus...m-flex-chrome/
