Kury ISO grip with throttle boss install tip

I've wanted the Kury ISO grips since I bought the bike, I find the OEM to small in diameter for my hands. I like the idea of the throttle boss that Kury makes, but it does not fit the F6B ISO grips made for heated grips. I figured it would be close enough and I'd make it work. It was much easier than I thought it would be. The holes are very close and all you need to do is grind a small amout of Material away froom the back side and your good to go. Like this:

As you can see I trimed the rubber back and ground it down just a little
And from the front you'd never know

Simple as that, the barend weights still fit, and work with everything as well. Its super easy it took less than 10min total. Hope this helps anybody who wants to use this setup and thought it wouldn't work

SpeedyWho, I use the Kury Iso Grips too, but I like what you did to make them work over the heated grips, and still use the throttle boss.

    Looks good.

I changed my grips to the ISO heated grips. Installed the throttle boss without any grinding or cutting. No bar ends though. Your bar ends are from Kuryakyn or Honda original equipment?

Those are Kuryakyn bar ends, your right the throttle boss would work with very little to no modification but I needed it to line up better with the ends I believe.

Ah ok... would you happen to know the difference in handling with and without the Kuryakyn bar ends installed? I am thinking if I need to order a set.... ?

No I don't, I haven't even installed these just yet. My bike is at my dealer getting the paint issue worked on right now.
