never heard that one, but out here everyone always says before a ride 'rubber side down'

The fun doesn't start until the tires slide.

I like to recall one of our old skydiving phrases, "Never believe you're so good that you can't die doing this".

    My 3 favs

An aviation axiom adapted for those who are land-bound:
"Don't let the airplane (or "motorcycle" or even "life") take you where your brain hasn't already been for at least 15 minutes."

    Favorite quote describing my idiom:
"We are men of action - lies do not become us."

And finally, if something ain't right, it needs to be "disinfsckulated."

    Have a great Friday!
    Steve

I know it's been used around Harley people, but I like :

If you need to be explained, you wouldn't understand

I wanna say this back to the Harley people (like one of my frends who rides a Street Glide (I traded in my street glide for F6B) who didn't wanna talk to me for awhile after I bought my F6, and when he finally began to talk again, I had to hear Honda and Japanese Jokes (I'm Japanese) for 2 hours! lol).

He will NEVER get to experience what a great machine F6B is until he changes attitudes about motorcycles. But that's his loss, not mine!

Please do not get me wrong: I'm not saying Harley is less of a bike compared to F6B. They are just two different breeds of bikes. I just happened to enjoy riding f6B more than I did my SG.

    I remembered a few more---

A cowboy is always judged by the horse he rides into town. Same with bikers.

Harley Davidson-- Making mechanics out of riders since 1903.

The size of the smile can be directly connect to the right wrist.

Everybody crashes. Some ride again. Some don't. Some Can't. Ride safe!

Kinda corny but my granddaughter and I sing this part of an old Arlo Guthrie song when we ride:
"I don't want a pickle, I just want to ride my motorcycle"
