Probably a stupid question, but is the 300,000 the total number of GW's built since inception or the number of F6B's?? or a combination of both...?
That's 300,000 Million bikes produced with the badging of the 40th anniversary edition GW, since the company began mfg motorcycles. They lead the world in production of internal combustion engines at 14 million a year. Hard to believe the GW has been around since 1975 and is 40 y/o, it's aging better than me.

From Honda's FB page.
Honda Motor Co began in 1949 - 66 years ago. In September 2014 a new milestone was achieved when its cumulative worldwide motorcycle production reached 300 million-units.
+1 and the entire article is available on the internet...The 300th million motorcycle produced by Honda this past September, just happened to be a Goldwing since Honda started making motorcycles 66 years ago...And in all due respect, some think Harley is the largest manufacturer of motorcycles...They "pale" in comparison to Honda's sales......knowing full well that Honda makes very small bikes to very large ones and ships them all over the world and has done so for years.....
