Hit a huge bump and depressed about it

I'm guessing I shouldn't be so worried about it, it is a Honda. I was riding through a construction area last night and hit this pothole that rocked my world. I was surprised the tires didn't blow out. After riding Harley's for the last few years, even the smallest bump in the road had me worried that something might break or fall off. I feel guilty for "beating up" my new bike. I guess it's just part of riding around town. Thought I might feel better if I aired it out on here. Thanks for listening.

The good thing is, you did not dump you and the bike on the ground.

It is always when is it going to happen ; not if it's going to happen.
