I went to "Uship.com" and had an 83 goldwing delivered from Cupertino Ca. to North Carolina for $500. They picked it up at the dealer in a closed 44' trailer and delivered it right to my door.

I have used this company MANY MANY MANY times ... $625 - $675
Excellent loading system, prompt service. I only had one motorcycle delayed by 7 days due to weather.

That is WAY up there in Maine.....pretty good price offer you have from an insured company. I just bought my 2013 in Iowa and transported it in the bed of my F150. easy beans.
    Good luck!

With todays gas prices , any "surcharge" could be negotiable .
