"1.21 gigawatts?! 1.21 GIGAWATTS??! Great Scott!!"
The year was 1967 (I think)
They were showing pro-mo's of the movie The Great Escape coming to network TV on a winter Saturday and Sunday night--too long for a single evening. I set thru the whole movie just to watch my hero ride. I had a hard time convincing my Granny to let me stay up on a school night.
About 48 years later, I own the movie on DVD and it is still one of my favorite scenes of all time--- along with the green Mustang chase scene in Bullet. McQueen is still The Coolest Guy around to me. Many imitators.

I love the ones where they show the riders blasting down the highway with no glasses on.
Not a favorite motorcycle in a movie, (most have already been mentioned) but Me ,Myself and Irene
