    Vented Windsheild

How much less noise can one expect from a vented vs non-vented windshield? I have the mid height clearview with no vent. Curious if it would make significantly less buffeting or noise.

    OEM Tall F6B Shield

Before taking slivery of my 6, I had the dealer install the OEM Tall Shield with vent. I have absolutely no regrets with that decision. No buffeting, at occasional speeds of 90/100 MPH' or annoying noises IMHO. The ability to adjust the vent in warm weather is great. No problem in hearing the stereo. I'm pretty much deaf so I adjust the volume to 15/16 and enjoy.

I have a tall clearview with a vent I don't notice any additional noise. In fact sometimes I crack it just to rid myself of the buffeting winds.

Noise...same w/o the vent.... vent is a positive for reduced buffeting and let in some air !!!

OK, so no change in noise, but the vent can affect buffeting.

Yep. That's been my experience with a vented F4 Customs shield.

It oughta be a crime to have this much fun on a motorcycle.

    Vented windshield by F4

We agree that a vented model will reduce the head buffeting. We have a big sale on right now also.
