There are 3 bikes that I fell in lust with at first sighting:
    1. The black Valk screeching across the desert in the only commercial I would ever watch over and over again. Had one, loved her.
    2. The Rune - saw it at an HD dealer, couldn't touch the price, but was fascinated by the alleged "over-engineering."
    3. The F6B - which I bought without really even riding. I just knew....

Someday, I'd like to get a Rune. Maybe when Phantom gets tired of one, he'll make me an offer I cannot refuse.

I too fell in love with the Beauty of the Rune, but at that time I settled for a 2008 vtx 1800n3 for half the price of the Rune.
would still like to ride one, possibly own one?

The RUNES were built STRICTLY for the North American market out of the Marysville, Ohio USA Plant.

Many affluent international individuals sought the Rune because of its rarity and the reliability of a Honda.
This made the Rune the perfect Penis Extension for some.

ALL of the above Runes were exported to Belgium, Hong Kong-China, Dubai, Russia, Brazil and Argentina.

The exportation of Runes has helped in keeping the US value of Runes in the $17,000 - $20,000 range. Not bad for a bike that was built from 2003 until mid 2004
