Any belly pan is better than no belly pan. They all seem to do the job of protecting the soft underbelly of the beast. I have a black anodized showchrome belly pan on my F6 and it's working just fine with over 8K miles under her.
The BP I posted, I use to lift my bike with a floor jack...not sure the others can do that ....

I use an OTC 1545 lift with MacGyver Belly Pan.
I also use the MacGyver bellypan, painted black, Handi lift.
A couple of weeks ago, I was riding and we pulled into a gas station and there was an abrupt dip and elevation change pulling into the gas station from the road. I heard something scrape, think it was the belly pan. So , I'm glad I have one. Could've been the exhaust, but can't really see any scratches.Oh, I have the McGyver
