    How loud can it go...

How high do you turn up the radio on windy days? There's days where I can't really hear it but am afraid to turn it up for fear of blowing up the speakers...

    Thanks!

Mine stays on 30 if I don't have my earbuds plugged in. I put in ear plugs to kill the wind noise and can hear my radio remarkably well, even at highway speeds. I try to remember to hit the mute button when I'm in town and stopped at lights. The cars around me give me unpleasant looks if I don't...

18 is typical around town, 23 for a good song. 22 at 70 MPH and then up to 28 for some nice rock.

Probably around 15 but have mine set to increase volume as speed increases.

Likely required if you have the stock windshield.
My radio is plenty loud on 12 around town, and the auto volume adjustment set on high compensates nicely at increased speed.

Hmm. Clearview 19" windscreen, stock speakers, AVC on. Ipod is at 12, radio 14. The highest setting is 30!

F6B1911 - No AVC setting on the radio will increase volume the faster you go. Some of you really need to read the manual.

Read your manual. It is a function you can enable. I don't use it but it works. It's nothing new. My dad's 86 Gold Wing Aspencade, that I'm currently rehabbing, has this feature.
