Honda OEM helmet audio set, not worth your time

: I purchased the audio set from Honda, and am very disappointed. To make the speakers fit in my Shoei Neotex modular helmet, U would have to cut the speakers cavities in the helmet, larger than they come in the helmet shell. I'm not chopping up a $600 helmet for an experiment. Guess I will put them in an older full face, sitting on the shelf. Anyone have a better fitting product for the Shoei? Would appreciate any advice.

Good thing you didn't cut the inside of your helmet yet, you'd be more than disappointed.
I did that to mine to make the speakers fit only to find the sound less than expected for a Honda OEM product.... $218.95 down the drain.
I've done quite a bit of "googling" for helmet speakers, nothing I want to experiment with.
Think my next try will be ear plug speakers.

    Thanks for the feedback guys!

Sorry I can't recommend any in-helmet speakers, but fwiw I've been happy with my Klipsch Image S4-II In-Ear Headphones.

Yes with an adapter. I got mine from ElectricalConnections.com but I no longer see them on the website. Wingstuff has the adapters too but there's have a cable; I like this one with no cable.

These fit perfect in all my Shoei helmets. Great fidelity AND phone connection. (Bluetooth)
