This is not a matter of not voting, nor is it a matter of not having good candidates; this is a matter of political forces "changing" the candidates after they enter office.
Many good people enter politics with integrity and ideals and convictions of the heart... many bad people enter seeking only to satisfy their power-lust... but, whichever the case, ALL eventually succumb to the political forces that turns them into weak puppets.
