Finally got my pipes and mounted them up. I will say that the job shouldn't have taken any more than an hour and a half start to finish, notice I said "SHOULDN'T HAVE".......five hours later.

The issue I ran into was the 2 tabs on the new pipe. They are not in the exact location as the stock pipes, probably off 1/4-1/2 inch. Getting the tabs on the pipe to line up with the slots on the heat shields was very challenging. I had to bend, squeeze, and contort the shields to match up and even after all that time and effort they don't line up exactly correct. There is a noticeable gap at the transition from the shield to the pipe, enough to bother a perfectionist like myself. I'm sure most people wouldn't mind the gap but I do. There is also a slight dimple in the front heat shield from having to basically force it on and install it under some pressure. If these tabs would have been lined up correctly like on the stock pipes this job would have been a breeze and the exhaust would have a cleaner more streamlined look without the gaps. Overall I am happy with the pipe and the sound is better than stock with a little sport bike rumble.
